Copyright Notice

BoxOffice responds to notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Titles are removed expeditiously on a valid notice, and the uploader is told what was removed and why.

Filing a notice

Open the title you are reporting and use Copyright notice beneath the player. A notice must identify the work, identify the material on BoxOffice, give your contact details, and carry a statement made under penalty of perjury that you are the owner or authorised to act for them. Filing from the title itself is deliberate: it attaches the notice to a specific video rather than a title someone typed from memory.

Counter-notice

If your title was removed and you believe it was a mistake or a misidentification, you can file a counter-notice from Creator Studio, which lists every decision made about your titles.

Repeat infringers

Accounts that accumulate repeated valid notices lose the ability to upload.

For anything that is not a copyright matter — harassment, safety, or content that breaks the rules — report it here instead. See also Legal.
